Following the posting of the article, entitled: Professional Secret “violated”, we deplore that numerous defamatory messages* have been published on our site by a heterogeneous coalition of clairvoyants and pseudo clairvoyants; their intentions were fundamentally dishonest (?). For some of them, it was a matter of smearing or casting doubt (!?) on a consumer who had a relevant opinion, after a substantiated investigation…
On the occasion of this ‘‘affair’’ it seemed useful to us to recall some recommendations specified in an article of the Moral and Professional Charter:
Respect for private life and professional secrecy:
All practitioners of the divinatory arts are bound by professional secrecy. The consultation is a strictly confidential act. Personal information concerning consultants will not be disclosed to third parties, including another professional, under any circumstances, directly or indirectly. The practitioner is prohibited from threatening the consultant to disclose them. The practitioner is prohibited from using this information for purposes other than divination and consultation activities. The practitioner is prohibited from recording or filming the consultant without his knowledge….
Certainly to be a clairvoyant or a practitioner of the divinatory arts, there is no diploma! There is no honors course, nor validation of acquired knowledge….in the absence of control and surveillance of these activities, anyone can make people believe anything.
Will we, on the occasion of this ‘‘affair’’, want to put clairvoyance and beliefs on trial? Of course not, in our opinion, because it is illicit practices and irresponsible behavior that are the order of the day. But denouncing abuses and scams is everyone’s business, in the very interest of the profession.
Among the defamatory messages, an individual, under cover of anonymity, claiming to be a member of the INAD (!?), was particularly insulting towards the consumer-investigator, it is quite obvious that his message only involves his irresponsible anonymity.
Finally, it is worth remembering, once again, that this site is intended for consumers and professionals in order to allow everyone to express themselves freely with dignity, respect for others and without any defamatory or insulting statements.
Consequently, no one is safe from legal action which can be brought by any person who considers themselves to have been the victim of defamation or slander, if the facts reported do not conform to the truth.
Finally, all the names of the professionals involved in the body of the article have been voluntarily, exceptionally, deleted, but we have retained the first letter of their names or pseudonyms.
- the messages concerned will be deleted but kept…
