Comment moderation policy

Comments are open to allow useful discussions around INAD publications and fact sheets. They are displayed by default, except when an automatic signal places them waiting for replay.

What can be moderated

A comment may be hidden if it contains in particular: advertising or canvassing, misleading links, usurpation, threats, hatred or harassment, personal data published without necessity, manifestly illegal accusation, content without repeated report or technical attempt at abuse.

The vocabulary specific to the divinatory arts is never, in itself, a reason for rejection. Automatic filters are only used for sorting: an authorized person remains responsible for the moderation decision.

Report a comment

Anyone can use the Report button next to the comment. She chooses a motif; a technical footprint limits repeated reporting without creating an account. A report does not necessarily result in immediate removal.

Decision and appeal

Depending on the context, INAD may maintain, mask, anonymize or redact only the illicit part of the comment. The author or data subject may request a review at contact@inad.info, indicating the URL, the comment and the reasons for the request. The response specifies, where possible, the decision taken and its reason.

Hidden comments remain inaccessible to the public but may be temporarily kept for proof, processing a report or defending rights. The terms relating to personal data appear in the privacy policy.
