The essential regulation
The Pogba affair, or the unfortunate story of the young footballer from the France team, who finds himself in a dark affair of maraboutage and extortion.
Nothing prevents an average citizen from consulting an authentic ‘marabout’ or a usurper (at his own expense) to ask him for protection against accidents, the evil eye, etc., because believing or not believing is also everyone’s business. These are common and widespread practices which have become a real dogma through conviction over time. Animist fetishists have made it a full-time practice. Among the marabouts practicing legally or clandestinely in Europe, some of them, a large majority, are nothing other than bullies manipulating the weakness of their clients. They know how to play on sensitivity, fear, ignorance, ignorance and credulity to extract the maximum amount of money. No one is safe.
This case elevates the client (here Paul Pogba) to the status of victim of deception, blackmail and extortion (?), whose sums can go up to several hundred thousand euros, or even exceed a million. The case of Carla Moreau, famous influencer, well known from reality TV shows, is just another variation on the theme. The number of victims of false clairvoyants, sorcerers, gurus and marabouts continues to increase, which is why we affirm that this problem, in the interest of millions of consumer customers/year, requires urgent regulation.

We remind you that all professions are today subject to a minimum of regulation and a maximum of obligations, to be a “clairvoyant, astrologer, medium, magnetizer, healer”, no rules to observe, no ethics to respect and no obligation or diploma are required. All you have to do is proclaim yourself a marabout, clairvoyant, medium or astrologer… It is therefore in the public interest of utmost urgency to implement regulations for which we have the keys within a legislative and regulatory framework for which the public authorities have the means. Today, the regulation of the divinatory arts depends essentially on government initiative. A decree law would suffice.
Our proposals
I - The census of all practitioners of the divinatory arts, legally declared and clearly identified under a single name or a professional pseudonym.
II - The establishment of a professional card giving the right to exercise a divinatory activity in the chosen specialty.
III- The commitment to respect the Code of Ethics of the profession recommended by the Ministry of the Economy and Finance: State Secretariat for Small and Medium Enterprises… .
IV – The creation of a specific department, similar to MIVILUDES, for the control, surveillance, census of practitioners of the divinatory arts and practices or mancies exercised in the profession.
The practice of clairvoyance and divinatory arts is indeed a social and economic reality. No one can ignore or dispute that the divinatory arts occupy an important place in our society.
If Cyber harassment is going to be regulated by law, the world of clairvoyance, astrology and maraboutage must also be, this will avoid many tragedies and a large number of scams.
