Angéla, living in Guadeloupe, has just had the painful experience of a scam by a marabout, Mr. Karamady, a false marabout and a real scammer. He can unblock the situation and ensure that the reimbursements return to Angéla quickly. The situation presented then appears simple, until Karamady addresses the question of work to be done. Angela has no idea that she is entering into an endless spiral that will plunge her into deep distress. Karamady will ask her to communicate the documents linked to the fraud affair: promise to sell the land, her photo… He tells her that she will obtain a rapid reimbursement of the sums extorted by these people regarding the land. Thinking that she would finally see the end of the tunnel and that her problem would be resolved once and for all, she pays the requested amount, still in cash. These are the requirements of the marabout. The client has no choice but to comply. The manipulation is underway, the marabout will operate by showing himself more and more threatening and by increasing his prices.
In the evening, the clairvoyant calls him to tell him that it is insufficient. You have to pay 2500 euros, or even 10,000 to overcome this situation which is more complex than it seems. Angéla does not necessarily have this money and Karamady does not care at all. She explains to him that it’s too much for her. She cannot honor this unexpected and so surreal request. It was then that Karamady changed his mind and readjusted the amount. It will be 1700 euros for Monday.
Angela understands that the demands of this marabout are beyond comprehension. She changes her mind and wants to stop everything. She then demands reimbursement of the 840 euros paid. To intimidate her, the marabout tells her that he cannot stop the work, otherwise a great misfortune will befall her. Any work started must, according to him, be completed, otherwise the worst is to be expected.
The marabout readjusts his price and demands 1000 euros to be paid on Monday. He will have to begin work on Sunday with a candle ritual. He calls her in the middle of the night, coming to terrorize her while she sleeps. She nods in terror. Then, when she comes to her senses during the day, she understands that 1840 euros is too large a sum. And how can we explain that this marabout demands amounts that vary from hour to hour. He appears more like a dealer and scammer. At no time was Angela able to believe that he was really a medium, but his way of acting completely implicated her in the quack’s trap. His work is well-established, he knows that he has weakened people in front of him, looking for help and support. Claiming nearly 1,840 euros in three days, without worrying about your client’s resources, amounts to commercialism but above all malice and fraud.
