I was harassed by this company…
I received emails from “MyAstro” several times and, each time, I clicked “unsubscribe” to no longer receive emails from them.
I was contacted several times by a certain “Cécile” who was seeing flashes, that it was becoming urgent, etc. And each time, I asked to unsubscribe from their site (I only kept two emails). Until the day when on the morning of January 31, someone called me telling me that “Cécile” was very worried about me, that it was becoming urgent, that she had rarely felt like that. Worried, I ended up agreeing to have her call me back. I was aware of the financial conditions: 1 euro for the first 10 minutes, then 4 euros/additional minute.
When “Cécile” called me, I told her from the start that I was skeptical, to which she replied that I had to be in “osmosis” for it to work. After a few minutes, she offered me a consultation at the “Pendulum” for a flat rate of 89 euros, because in my opinion, this flat rate replaced the 4 euros per additional minute. When the person told me that the consultation was over, they informed me that the direct debit was refused by my credit card (on my Caisse d’Épargne bank account). So I gave the contact details of another credit card and that’s when she told me that I would receive by email a notification of a direct debit for an amount of 486 euros! I was speechless and then told him of my astonishment.
I received 2 notifications of direct debits: a first notification of 486 euros refused; a second notification of 518 euros: I was charged an additional 8 minutes to carry out the second transaction. I called back the accounts of this company to see a little more clearly and above all to find an arrangement, but nothing could be done, no arrangement possible, everything was clear according to them. As a commercial gesture, I was offered 1 month of free consultation. Curious, right? Regarding the purchase of the products that I was charged for 69 euros, I sent an email on 01/02/2015 informing them that I returned these products and therefore requested a refund. No response to date. I contest the abusive deduction of 518 euros. I indicated that I was paying the €89 as agreed before the consultation. Before accepting this so-called pendulum consultation at €89, I was harassed on the phone by this company that I denounce.
I was manipulated, trapped; because I never accepted nor wanted a (phony) clairvoyance consultation and spent more than €500. That’s half of my disability pension! And I risk a checkbook ban and a report to the Bank of France;
This is why I objected to this operation and filed a complaint to report the scam.
