INAD: a quality label, based on transparency and clarity, evolving towards a loyal, dignified and supportive activity.
Today, clairvoyance via audiotels has become an activity in its own right. On all sides, some of these ‘‘organs’’ are criticized for taking advantage of the ignorance and lack of knowledge of ‘‘users’’ of clairvoyance to enrich themselves unduly. Indeed, the number of complaints from customers who feel duped by illusory consultations is increasing every month. We have been regularly denouncing, and for a long time, these questionable practices which discredit the entire profession.
Requested by the INAD, for the purpose of establishing a professional card for qualified practitioners, possibly under the aegis of a public authority, the State Secretariat in charge of Commerce, Crafts, Small and Medium Enterprises, Tourism, Consumer Services, recommended to us: “A profession can take the initiative of setting up and promoting a private label by adopting specifications which, in this case, could correspond to the Charter of good practices that you have already drawn up… and invites you to continue your action to encourage professionals in the sector to adhere to your Quality Charter. » This is why we propose, in accordance with the recommendations of the Ministry, to issue a professional card to any practitioner in a voluntary and freely agreed process. This approach is accompanied by adherence - without reservation - to the Moral and Professional Charter endorsed by the Ministry: http://inad.info/documents/charte_de_deontologie. It is not a question of carrying out a witch hunt for audiotel services which operate freely, but above all of raising awareness among its managers to surround themselves with competent, honest, rigorous practitioners, to respect and enforce the rules laid down in the said charter, under penalty of seeing their liability engaged.
The issuance of this card is accompanied - possibly - by information seminars, training and exchanges between professionals…this card constitutes a guarantee of credibility, seriousness, skills, enough to reassure consumers and allow them to evolve in complete peace of mind in the world of clairvoyance. INAD intends to serve as mediator, as in the past, in all disputes between one of its members and a dissatisfied consumer. Consequently, we propose that any professional - having at least one year of activity - would benefit from passing a knowledge and skills test in one or more specialties, to which individuals as well as associations, companies or other legal entities concerned must submit to contribute without exception to the improvement of relationships between practitioners and consumer clients. The issuance of a professional card, a true quality label, does not entail any restriction on free enterprise, and nevertheless constitutes a step towards moralizing the profession and avoiding the unimaginable abuses which result from it.
