The profession of divinatory arts has become a profession of businessmen ‘‘without any qualms’’. Certain audiotel firms and services have detestable behavior and practices, enlisting the collaboration of “blind clairvoyants and myopic experts”*, enlightened spiritualists, individuals specialized in mental manipulation, who have a single goal: that of robbing the customer who is often in disarray, feeling bad about themselves, looking for a little comfort, a friendly voice, an outstretched hand…
Today, the INAD association, whether we like it or not, is the only bulwark, the only credible, serious and independent organization capable of informing the consumer, but also the honest professional, lost in the jungle of this profession, infiltrated by pharmacies bringing together notorious charlatans, veritable factories for making money on the backs of a fragile population, exploiting the ignorance and weakness of consumers. It is time to put an end to these abuses, to guarantee the good faith of professionals and their clients against manipulation of all kinds by the real “mafias of human distress” who systematically deceive the credulity of good people.
The INAD has once again contacted Madame Fleur PELLERIN, Minister Delegate to the Minister of Productive Recovery in charge of Small and Medium Enterprises, Innovation and the Digital Economy, so that her services can look into these activities which generate a colossal turnover but which are also at the origin of real human tragedies… Indeed these abuses are essentially due to the legal vacuum resulting from the absence of a code of ethics of the profession and any law governing these activities. The fact remains that INAD continues to deploy all its efforts to see that these activities are regulated and to support victims.
Numerous complaints, supported by the INAD, on the basis of fraud, abuse of weakness and deception, are being investigated or pending before various public prosecutors’ offices throughout the country. Only the Republican State has the power to protect a profession in which anyone can today impose their malevolence and organize it into a system of deception.
