Over the past few months, many consumers have asked us the question: Why are marabouts not included in the list of “Professionals who can be consulted” or in the section of INAD members?
This is in no way any discrimination, as some consumers or marabouts may or could have believed. Indeed, faced with numerous misdeeds committed by some of them, against fairly fragile people, we intervened with several hundred “marabouts”, in order to educate them to carry out their activity with integrity and by opting for reasonable fees. But out of distrust, ignorance or ignorance, they did not think it useful to respond to our call, except for some whose membership was rejected due to unfavorable information concerning them.
Only a general awareness of rigorous marabouts would be able to shed light on this essential practice which has its place in society, on condition, and on condition only, that the different associations of marabouts sort out among themselves in order to rule out all the usurpers, poor marabouts but true fetish manipulators.
The INAD would like to remind you that true marabouts exercise their priesthood in piety and discretion, do not trade in their “power”, do not advertise and live modestly in their country of origin.
For your information, in recent months, we have received several complaints from victims of certain “marabouts” and other clairvoyance firms (audiotel services), who have taken from their victims all their savings, sums ranging from €20 to €60,000, for a total of more than €400,000.
Faced with the refusal of these marabouts and clairvoyance firms to make reimbursements, even partial, of the sums collected, the victims filed complaints with the competent courts.
