“…I have been the victim for two months of a marabout who harasses me, scares me and threatens me as soon as I refuse to pay him more for his so-called marabout work that he imposed on me. As I was tormented and led for a ride by my ex, I looked on the internet and I came across the site voyantmarabout…, a site reserved for a host of marabouts who compete for usurped knowledge and power. I realized it too late.  Moreover, I reserve the right to hold the managers of this site liable for complicity… While browsing this veritable ‘‘catalogue’’ of ‘‘marabouts’’, all crowned with the title of professor or master, appearing on the site in question, I stopped on a man called Sylla whose advertisement indicates: “… quick result within the week 100% guaranteed, 20 years of experience, honest and discreet, payment after result…. I called him, in the hope of being enlightened and above all to find out if my ex was going to come back.  I confided my whole story to this marabout because I was unhappy and this breakup devastated me, desperate, I cried constantly, I had lost confidence. Mr. Sylla knew how to take advantage of the situation, he was very attentive and kind, which did not prevent him from collecting 39 euros for his pseudo consultation. I thought it stopped there, but he contacted me the next day to offer his help in finding happiness again… He asked me to buy a list of materials and told me that the cost of the work was €450 and that it would require a trip to my home. As a result, I had to add €450 for his travel and €3980 corresponding to the dates of birth of my ex-partner and me. This sum would have been demanded by the spirits as just a refundable deposit upon completion of the work. He asks me to say “prayers” and to shower with salt and an egg in order to purify myself because in his consultation, he would have seen that someone had done something against me to keep me alone and that is why my relationship with my ex was a failure.

So he comes to my home, imposing on me the day he comes, and tells me that there is a problem at home, that it is urgent because my daughter and I are in danger and it is the “Kountama” spirit that would have revealed to him to deal with this problem which was putting us in serious danger.  And to do this he asks me for €7,000, after which everything will be back to normal and my partner will come home and we will finally have the happiness we deserve. But above all I shouldn’t tell anyone about it and be wary of everyone… Not having this money, I didn’t follow up. From that moment on, he literally harassed me with phone calls and text messages to convince me to agree to pay him this amount. I told him that his demand was not part of his initial request or the conditions of departure set by him alone. He found a way to tell me that this sum was just a loan fixed by… The spirits.
  I understood his scam, I refused, he got angry and became very angry and he increased the pressure on me… I felt panicked, very unhappy, helpless, angry with myself. I held on, I refusedto give him even the slightest penny more.
 The matter did not end there    
A few days later, he called me and told me that he had transferred my file to Mr. BABA, another marabout he knew who would be able to help me. I didn’t have to wait long, the man called Baba called me, he gave me a consultation and told me that to finish my work I had to advance €34,000. I refuse and out of anger, I threaten to file a complaint against him and against Sylla because I believe I have paid enough for maraboutage work without any results, which in my eyes constituted a fraud.  I have all the proof of the regulations made under the influence of fear and harassment from Sylla.
SYLLA and Baba accomplices in the scam have more than one trick up their sleeve
Mr SYLLA calls me and tells me that he has taken over the file and is still sure of himself, as if nothing had happened. He tells me that I just have to make a sacrifice of an animal and carry out prayers that he will do through his grandfather in Africa, it would only cost me 400 euros payable by PCS and everything will be over. Although in debt I pay him the 400 euros, in the hope of recovering all of my money, because he had sworn to me on what is dearest to him that this money collected was only a loan demanded by the spirits.  And I, who thought that everything was settled, he came back to me to tell me that he needed to buy, before the end of the day, 700 euros worth of gold powder to close the file. I refused, he is not discouraged, he continues to harass me and scare me.
I’m asking you for help because I’m alone with my daughter, I can’t do it anymore, I don’t know how to get out of there.  I am ashamed to go to a police station and file a complaint. This man also scares me with his threats. I’m in a spiral and I can’t get out of its grip. »
