Following an emotional and personal problem that was bothering me, I wanted to consult a psychic. I looked through a list of marabouts on the internet and settled on someone called KARIM alias BAKARI (certainly an assumed name) “Marabout in ….”. I was far from suspecting or thinking that by calling on this individual I was going to be “defrauded”.
He asked me €50 for his consultation and, after a brief time of reflection, €700 more, which I could pay in two installments by credit card, under the pretext that I was under the influence of an evil spell, carried out by a member of my family. It was that, or I kept my curse. I complied and made the payment via my credit card. Total cost: €750.
After a brief time of reflection, having certainly smelled “the good deal”, taking advantage of my credulity, the anguish and the fear that he had just created in me, he immediately clarified to me that my condition required a disenchantment to release the bad spell that was blocking my life. According to him, the work had to be done quickly because it was urgent. He recommended that I call him back that same evening, to say… “prayers.”
I called him as agreed, he told me that it would be imperative to go to his office at……., because he had important revelations to make to me… I went to his office the next day and there, this marabout informed me that the spirits had manifested themselves to him and demanded a payment of a deposit of €7,000 (in cash) to carry out his maraboutage work because my case is serious, very serious! In complete disarray, I took all the steps with my bank to obtain this famous loan, which, according to the commitment of Marabout Akim alias Bakari, is only a guarantee to satisfy the spirits. a few days later, I obtained the loan of €7,000 and gave him the whole amount, insisting that this sum represented a deposit, because otherwise, it would put me in serious difficulties… He had to keep this sum just long enough to carry out his ceremony, and give me the whole thing on my next visit to his office. He had promised me that this money only served as a deposit with the spirits and that this money would be given to me in the same envelope at the next meeting.
He also told me that the spirits demanded an offering by purchasing several “things” from him (them) and to give himself a semblance of power and support his inaudible “incantations”, he made me wash my hands with water which became blackish. There, he frowned, tensed his face slightly and told me that he had to bring this water to the forest to perform his ceremony in the presence of the spirits and that then he would give me back my money.
It’s as if I was under his influence or hypnotized, but something clicked made me realize that I was being trapped by a crook. . I had told him everything about my complicated love life, my financial difficulties, my difficult ends of the month, and above all that I was the mother of several young children… I had noticed that I was speaking into a vacuum, and that what I was telling him was the least of his worries. ..
A few days later, he called me again to tell me that his ceremony had gone very badly: “The spirits are upset, angry, this time they are demanding €33,000 deposit. ..” Hearing the figure, I thought I was going to faint, where could I find such a sum? I remind himmy complicated life, my difficulties… It didn’t seem to move him. He replied dryly: Do your best to find €26,000, otherwise the spirits will never return the €7,000 deposit. To try to convince me, he told me that people are angry and that to calm them down, they would accept a deposit of an additional €7,000 before the end of the week otherwise everything would be lost. I tell him that I cannot get credit, I have to repay the first one otherwise I will be very bad with the bank. He orders me to buy, with my credit card: a major brand television and various objects, as offerings, for the spirits.. There, I found that enough is enough! I realize that I let myself be tricked by a scammer… I don’t know how I’m going to pay my late rent, my taxes and everything else. I need my money.
I will go all the way, legally, to get my money back and regardless of the consequences…
Thank you for helping me and publishing this testimony.
