Already my life is not easy and my future uncertain, daily anxiety… July 27, 2017, that day, when I had just received some rather pessimistic news… Suddenly the ringtone of my phone rang, I picked up, at the end of the line a female voice introduced itself, claiming to be called Frédérique (Marchi?) tel 04 28 31 31 21 2… 09 75 12 95 6 . & 01 84 14 69 6., employee of a debt collection firm of Amanda clairvoyance, for a sum of 311.00 Euros which was not collected following an error by the credit card service. And saying they have all the proofs, recordings, details, and asking me if I agreed to pay straight away, and under these conditions, the amount would be reduced to 278.00 Euros.
Lost in my problems, I replied that if I owed this amount, I had no reason to refuse to pay it. I admit that I didn’t remember this affair at all, which apparently dates back to 2016. But she was only in a hurry, to get to the payment formalities, without giving me time to think, to come to my senses. I nevertheless managed to check but found nothing.
I don’t know what happened, usually I’m very suspicious. But disturbed by my health problem and the bad news of the morning, I complied, despite myself, by paying by credit card the sum of €280 which was announced to me.
After hanging up, I realized what a mistake I had made, and I objected, but too late. On 31.07, when I consulted my card account the surprise was greater having been debited by 2780.00 Euros
It was then that I filed a complaint against clairvoyance who informed me later that this sum was for a subscription of one year, and that they had recorded my agreement, it is true that I had been talked about clairvoyance sessions if I paid these 278.00 Euros, but he never had been a question of subscription and especially of such an amount.
If I agreed to consult once to find out the outcome of my illness, I never agreed to take out a clairvoyance subscription, I don’t even know that it could exist.
I filed a complaint for fraud on July 30, 2017 and renewed my complaint with the Public Prosecutor.
