“….I had to deal with a so-called marabout from Benin, who took a lot of money from me… to give me confidence, he guaranteed the return of my husband the next day… He also told me that he never advertised and yet he asked me, casually, to do it with him on social networks to praise his so-called powers, saying (falsely) that my husband had returned. This pseudo marabout is called Dokounon…I let myself be trapped like all those who called on him. I can affirm today that its only power is that of lies, fraud, racketeering and manipulation and scam.
In the hope of seeing my husband return home quickly, I did so quickly by publishing his know-how and his (imaginary) power on social networks. I sincerely regret this and I hope that my testimony has not encouraged others to fall into the same trap as me. So he guaranteed me a result the next day. Which was false, my husband never came back and this so-called marabout, charlatan of maraboutage, never got discouraged to tell me a new problem and to ask me for money, always money, to buy oxen and chickens for offerings required by the spirits and by his genius… To scare me, he found a way to tell me: “…you are angry, the genius heard everything (?) and got angry, it’s serious, so to apologize you have to offer him 2 oxen, cost: €800…
A few days later, He announced to me that he had sent me 1 package, but his genius was thwarted, which is very serious because the package had been touched by the customs woman who had her period, which canceled his work and therefore he had to do another ritual at…€480 Mother of a small child, who kept calling for his dad, blinded by the love I had for my husband who, suddenly, left me for someone else, forgetting his son. I was desperate and could do nothing but believe, cling to the supposed power of this charlatan.
He asked me to make him 500 business cards and distribute them to mailboxes…I didn’t do anything, of course. A few days later, He comes back and asks me if the cards were dealt correctly, I answer in the affirmative. He was happy and there he said to me: ‘‘the spirits and the genius are happy with you…’’
…As I began to doubt his powers very seriously, like all tricksters, he gave me another hope for a quicker result. Between doubt and hope, I still wanted to believe…he sent me a ring to put on my finger, to isolate me in my room, to get on my knees and to do the ritual…, then to make sure that I had done it well, that I was wearing the ring correctly, he asked me to film myself and show him the video (we agree that it was useless to be naked to show this ring) I admit now it’s ridiculous but since February he has done everything to ensure my husband’s certain return. To stop there, it would have been a waste, to my misfortune I believed him.
1 week ago when everything should have been finished he told me that there was another problem and asked me 800€ for 2 oxen because this time he said that a certain master Loko (with whom I spoke once and who wanted to help me for free). One day, the latter asked me to buy a phone card for €30 andsend him the code, which of course I did because he was supposedly helping me for free! So he told me that this master Loko was working for him… He asked me for €800 in repairs to apologize (that’s the height yes yes!!! We agree) I explained to him that I don’t have that money and that I’m stopping there… he calmly told me: “It’s serious! If we stop work, you have to give €3,000 to apologize to my genius, and if I don’t, he will first put my video on social media and then the genius will come see me in my room with broken bottles. Which I categorically refuse. Having noticed my desire not to give in to his threats, he told me you pay €800 and you add €120 to keep the genius waiting.. I categorically refuse, I understood the scam.
He tried to make up for it to persuade me that it was really a mistake to no longer trust him and that I could telephone one of his clients who was satisfied with the return of her husband, thanks to him. He gives me his number, I call him, this poor, terrified woman tells me that her husband never made a mistake but not to tell him again. She was duped, like me, by Dokounon who made her make the same video to blackmail her and extort her. But she still believes in her husband’s return.
I think she informed Mr. Doukounon because he threatened me to upload my video on Facebook and whatsapp and everyone will see your sex (you see me on my knees and bare chest, no more) and adds that he is going to ask the genius to ruin my life, that I will suffer all my life and that I will be unhappy and gives me until yesterday noon to pay €920…I did not respond to his blackmail.
This ‘marabout’ was so threatening that I went to see the police who told me to wait until the video was online to file a complaint. I also reported this problem to signalement.gouv.fr and to various organizations
This blackmailer is called Dokounon, his real name is Lionel credo LANGANFIN, he is in BENIN… he is a thief, liar, manipulator! His phone number is as follows….(deleted by INAD)
