<p>There you go, last night I was looking at my Facebook page and I saw an advertisement: <a href="http://voyancesylvianne.com">http://voyancesylvianne.com</a> indicating: “When are you going to meet the man of your life”, thinking of a test game like there are plethora of on Facebook, I go ahead and click on it. I arrive on a page which indicates “Free and immediate clairvoyance - 0 € to pay”. I click on it, I fill out the form: email, last name, first name… the response is instantaneous “would you like to be called back”. Thinking about the game and how it was free, I told myself that it was without any risk…</p>
<p>I am reminded and told: 10 minutes of free clairvoyance, provided I pay €1 to check if I am of age…(?). So I give my bank card details. I was quickly told that beyond that it is €8.50 (what per hour? per minute? per second?).
The person insisted several times that I remain on the line, available, for the free 10-minute clairvoyance.<br />
I receive an SMS which confirms the appointment for the 10 minutes free then 8.50€/minute… I admit that I didn’t even (really) pay attention because immediately a friend called me. So I was on a call when the psychic called me, I hung up very quickly to hear what he had to say to me.
I was expecting him to clearly state the prices but he quickly starts to spout his blah blah blah. I let him do it because, I said to myself, that this must be his way of proceeding within the allotted time and that for that he was hurrying.. I expected that after 10 minutes he would cut off and say to me do you want to continue or stop? Absolutely nothing…. I don’t pay attention to the passage of time… he keeps saying everything that comes into his head: ‘’ close your eyes, say stop on a card… Ah MONIKA, another good news… he’s flirting with me at the same time. To trick me better, to put me to sleep, he told me that he would be happy to see me in Nice (previously, during the question-and-answer game, I told him of my plan to move to the coast).</p>
<p>Always an intense verbal flow, he tries to establish a relationship of sympathy and seduction… tired by this interminable speech which I realized was leading nowhere; I pointed it out to him but nothing could be done, he continued to spout his blah blah blah, without leaving a blank and still without telling me that the deadline had largely passed and that the sum was likely to be huge… smart ass, he managed to establish a certain complicity and I thought he wouldn’t make me pay since he seemed to enjoy the conversation, while flirting with me… even giving me his cell phone number…<br />
In short, by going around in circles, he tells me that we have been talking for 1 hour 40 minutes, that he is giving me the free 10 minutes, that he will therefore only count me for 1 hour 30 minutes of consultation… Stunned, I ask him, how much will it cost me?? I don’t have a lot of means… We talked about it during the conversation since he told me that I was going to find a job in the second half of 2016… that my financial situation was going to improve… in short!
He clears into touch, he doesn’t answer me because he doesn’t know, he doesn’t count, he tells me. He pauses to think and then he tells me: Take a subscription given the amount that was going to be substantial… I said to myself phew! it will be €39/month and that will be fine.</p>
<p>Their service calls me back and tells me a sum of €1,600 because, they told mesays: He’s ‘‘the best of psychics’’ he gives you a 50% discount… I tell them that it’s impossible, I don’t have such a sum.
They offered to charge me in three installments: €800, €400 and €400…. Faced with my dismay, I was put on hold to question the psychic. The latter got me back on the phone and told me he had given me a discount and that I would only have to pay €765!
I tried to find a solution with him, by agreeing to pay this amount at the rate of €50 per month…, he told me that their system does not allow installments…</p>
<p>Having major financial difficulties, I didn’t sleep a wink all night, wondering how I was going to resolve my overdraft… and at 2:31 a.m. I received 3 text messages in quick succession telling me that €200 had been debited, 200 and 200… (€600 at 2:31 a.m.).
This morning I am trying to contact this office to resolve this problem… strangely the complaints service never responds… I go through the clairvoyance service… who tells me that they will call me back… (but of course…)
How can I cancel these direct debits with my bank? I was clearly the victim of a breach of trust. By indicating the numbers on my card I only expected €1… not 765!</p>
