Generosity to manipulate you and make you swallow the pill
Trapped for giving out my bank details. I am telling you about my telephone session that I had with Patricia, a medium from Astrowi. I received in my mailbox a free clairvoyance offer and a form to complete. As it was free, I really didn’t think while filling out the ‘‘famous form’‘…Being disabled, in a state of psychological fragility, in the midst of depression and on antidepressants, I didn’t question the seriousness of this generous offer because I was in the midst of emotional turmoil, ‘‘desperate’’ due to my successive failures in love; I was ready to believe anyone but not at any price… So I jumped at the chance in the hope of knowing what to expect, of knowing if my current love life has a future, a meaning or simply turn my back on it, no longer waste my time. And after all, I said to myself: since it’s free! This clairvoyant who “arrived here in my mailbox” could perhaps, I said to myself, help me.
When I hung up the phone, I immediately understood that this clairvoyant, a skilled manipulator, was not a clairvoyant. She didn’t teach me anything and she only used the information I gave her via the form. During the “consultation” I was so devastated, as if paralyzed, tears came; I wasn’t able to think and I only wanted to believe, to believe this reassuring voice which promised to help me and told me that it’s going to be okay, it’s going to be okay… All this for €488, to hear me say that my friend was afraid to commit and that I had to let him breathe or even leave him. And finally she offers me, she forces me to buy a candle for 200 euros to establish a connection with her for 15 minutes, a real scam. I don’t know what this candle will be used for…A love coach would have cost me 40 euros and a consultation with someone honest would have cost me 60 to 80 euros for an hour with real answers. But to make me ‘‘swallow’’ the pill without difficulty, she promised me a 3-month job in order to improve and resolve my emotional situation. The generosity of this clairvoyant has no limit to manipulate you, give you false hopes, defraud you… How many people has she done the same thing to, how many people has she lied to?
I too, like Hélène, felt trapped, because I was manipulated into filling out the form, giving information about my life, giving my credit card details before the consultation to the “secretary”… manipulated! But I have not said my last word in this matter.
