IDA, a quiet little scam (?)

'’Your Psychic has an urgent message for you’’

…One evening last February, following a romantic breakup, I really wasn’t feeling well psychologically, an anxiety gripped me, alone, with no one to talk to… I remembered this name of the clairvoyance site permanently displayed on Facebook…, I only clicked on the link, then I entered my email address and my phone number. The response was immediate, I was contacted, harassed by email and SMS, until one evening on February 20, 2015, when I received an SMS on my mobile phone saying: ‘‘Your psychic has an urgent message for you’’. A few moments later, my phone rings, on the other end of the line, the secretary of a certain IDA ‘‘clairvoyant’‘ presents herself to offer me a 10-minute clairvoyance for €1. As I was still not doing well, a 10 minute consultation for €1…, I accepted. IDA, with well-rehearsed language, launched into an interminable speech that had nothing to do with clairvoyance. To my question she told me that my ex-boyfriend’s return would be within 1 to 2 years, without any other details, other than blah blah blah. I can therefore, if I understand correctly, wait, be patient and be satisfied with his clairvoyance.

Funny clairvoyance and funny clairvoyant who, her spiel finished, running out of arguments, no doubt, because it was really spiel, a real recitation, which I didn’t believe for a moment…she tells me again the secretary who also has a well-practiced language, a ready-made commercial catchphrase; she tries to persuade me, to impose a fixed price on me to be able to be called back, because I was, according to her, entitled to 180 minutes of consultation for…€400, I mean €400, half of a salary or the monthly allowance of an unemployed person. I told him that my means did not allow me, do not allow me to pay such a sum and moreover I did not ask for anything apart from a 10 minute consultation for €1. .. She doesn’t seem to hear what I say to her; apparently that’s not his problem; his goal is to sell me his package for €400, payable in installments. I said no. But, these people still took €150 from me, I said no. Which did not prevent them from taking the amount in question. My mistake, my fault, was to have given them my bank card number for the payment of €1. But is it really a mistake, a failure to be in good faith and trust?

In the meantime, the victim of my bank card being hacked, I filed a complaint with my bank. Mrs. IDA’s secretary calls me back one evening, always at the same time: 9 p.m., certainly that possible pigeons, like me, are more permeable, to inform me that Ida the clairvoyant is available for a consultation, but that the consultation will not take place, as if it were a punishment, because we see an opposition on your card… Although I have not received any invoice, today I received a letter from the company COSMOSPACE (attached) threatening me with legal action if I did not regularize my situation.

I believe that I owe nothing to this company, to this clairvoyant who only has the name, I did not give any authorization, except an authorization for 1 €, for this pseudo consultation whose offer did mention 1 € for 10 minutes. I consider that I was the victim of commercial deception and obvious fraud, under the guise of clairvoyance.
