The priced scam
…I was the victim of a scam by someone called Diana, who claims to be a psychic. ..towards the end of November 2015, having had emotional problems, while I got along very well with my ex, our relationship deteriorated overnight, to the point that my ex could no longer stand me… Desperate, I noted in a local newspaper the contact details of a so-called clairvoyance firm, the FIRST VOYANCE firm, whose only address was a post office box BP 29. 06901 SOPHIA ANTIPOLIS. Tel: 03527402…By calling this office to find out what was happening to me, I was put in touch by a switchboard operator with a certain Diana who, to reveal her feelings to me, pushed me to go further. She told me a consultation of €15.00 for the first 10 minutes, then €9.50 per additional minute, without further details. As I was in a state of great depression, I understood that ‘‘clairvoyance’’ would cost me €9.50 for ten additional minutes and €9.50 for ten additional minutes. Diana was able to hold me for 65 minutes (approximately) to tell me and repeat to me that this man was very much in love with me, but that there was a woman between us who did occult work to separate us. As my friend’s behavior was incomprehensible, I ended up believing her, especially since she had assured me that she would be able to undo the work undertaken by this rival to separate me from my friend and thus rediscover happiness and joy of life, that we would come back together…
After the consultation, I had the unpleasant surprise of receiving a threatening email informing me that my conversation had been recorded and that any opposition to my credit card would result in legal action. On the same day, I was charged the sum of €537.00 for the consultation. Diana insisted that I pay the sum of €1,120.00 for ‘‘the work’’ of reconciliation and disenchantment. Faced with my refusal, she offered me a 3-month payment plan, that is: €350.00 in November (in addition to €537.00 representing the cost of the consultation, then two payments of €385.00: one for the end of December 2015, and the last for the end of January 2016. What was my surprise to find that Diana’s company took practically everything at the end of December, after having collected two payments in November.
Just before the Christmas holidays, I had Diana on the phone, who informed me that she was going to be absent to participate in a seminar in Israel, with other clairvoyants, to reinforce the work she was doing for me, telling me that the strength of the work would be multiplied by 10, and that she guaranteed me that before December 31, 2015, my friend would be back and that we would spend the holidays together. She is supposed to have left on December 22, 2015 and returned on January 4, 2016. This kind-hearted lady insisted that I pay an additional sum of €385.00, telling me that this sum was supposed to cover her expenses during her stay in Israel.
Not only have I had, until now, any news from my friend, but people continue to ask me for money. Which I categorically refuse. There, she starts to get angry but I hold on because I ended up understanding their scam.
I am disappointed to have been bowed down, I am also revolted to see that people who are supposed to help their fellow human beings take advantage of their pain, their distress, like that, simply without thinking about the harmful consequences of their actions and without thinking about their victims.
No! Diana has no power, no gift, apart from that of manipulating her poor victims who call on this company “First Clairvoyance”, which is for me, today LAST clairvoyance.
I hope that other people will not be manipulated and will be much more careful and wiser than I was.
I am writing today a letter of formal notice so that the company First clairvoyance reimburses me the sums extorted under duress, failing which I will file a complaint.
