….I called on Mr. MORIBA, marabout, who told me €65 for a clairvoyance consultation, which I accepted. Desperate about a romantic breakup, I told him about my state of mind, but also about my financial difficulties.
Mr. Moriba immediately understood my discomfort, identified my situation and found my weak point, child’s play for him, a fun game… He took the opportunity to graciously offer me his help, without paying anything, I’m not asking for anything, he assured me, if you really want to ‘‘recover’’ your friend. It must be said that this gentleman manages to turn your mind around in 5 minutes, I am trapped in a sordid spiral.
During my call on February 19, he just asked me to pay him the consultation of 60 euros. Which I did. But taking advantage of my weakness, he tried to take 410 euros. Faced with my surprise, he told me: “This is my method when we start reconciliation work…” As the direct debit was rejected by the bank for insufficient provisions, as if nothing had happened, he called me back to renew the transaction but he took the opportunity to deduct 350 euros. He assured me that within 4 days everything would be fine for me. At the end of these 4 days, I was in the same situation, I called him to let him know and tell him that my friend had not given any sign of life, not the slightest call. His reaction was astonishing: he told me that the work did not work, he swore to me that I would get my money back and to my great surprise he asked me for a deposit of €1,500 to facilitate the work he intended to carry out to activate the result. Faced with my refusal (I do not have this amount) he advises me to go to the bank and apply for a loan and then he will be able to finish the work and immediately return the deposit. And if the bank refuses, he advises me to ask my family…As I did not want this ‘‘affair’’ to remain discreet, I asked my bank, which authorized me an exceptional overdraft of €400, to cash it and advise me to call him back the next morning, which I do and there, he asks me for another €300 because the work requires additional costs…
I understood the scam, I couldn’t help but tell him. He hangs up the phone in my face. I don’t get discouraged, I call him back and inform him that I’m going to go see the police or the gendarmerie because everything he promised me was just a bunch of lies. Furious, he threatens to ruin my life. I must not be the first nor the last victim of this pseudo marabout. Help me. Sabine
