I would like to strongly denounce this scam with the pseudo free answer to 1 question, offered by the LINE VOYANCE platform, tel 01 39 46…., in reality, this generalized offer of free clairvoyance is akin to a real racket, of which I was the victim. I wanted my testimony to be published to inform and warn other people and prevent them from falling into the trap of free clairvoyance.
The technique used is simple, you just have to fill out a form indicating: name, first name, address, locality, postal code, date of birth, landline phone, mobile phone, email and finally specify the question to which you wish to obtain an answer and that’s it, the scam is set up. Instead of getting the promised response in return as specified in the advertising offer, the next day I was called several times by a young person who offered me a consultation for 1 euro. Sensing a scam, I refused, telling him that I had no money because I had other expenses to pay as a priority…. The person did not insist at the moment but a little later, she came back to the charge, assuring me that the clairvoyance would only cost me one euro in total, payable by credit card. For one euro, I said to myself: why not! I gave in.
In possession of my bank details and my marital status, the clairvoyant in the tone of ironic assurance of satisfaction informs me: “Don’t worry, you will receive a written confirmation by email. Then nothing more, no phone call to have my clairvoyance consultation at 1 euro as promised nor confirmation of my payment by email.
Much later, the person finally called me back, but to inform me that the indicator would only be available around 12:30 p.m…….. But I wanted to express my concern to him about not receiving confirmation by email for a withdrawal of the sum of one euro, as agreed. The person tells me that this is normal and that what is necessary will be done…
After a painful wait, my phone finally rings. A number starting with 04…. appears on my phone screen. I wanted to immediately clarify to this clairvoyant, rather to this clairvoyant, that the consultation was concluded for 1 euro because I did not have the means, but this clairvoyant had nothing to do with my financial concerns. She spoke to me very slowly, diluting everything and not getting to the heart of the matter, so I got worried and made it known several times but she seemed to not care at all. 10 minutes have passed, I intervene and tell her stop because she wasn’t answering anything and everything she said corresponded to nothing and had nothing to do with the question asked in the form. I understood that the form was a trap to force people to communicate their credit card number and allow this company to legally charge a tidy sum.
That’s when she told me that I would be charged €121 and that she would call me back in about a month. So then, I exploded, telling her that it wasn’t planned like that, that it was theft and that I didn’t agree and that this payment wouldn’t be honored, that it was a shame to take advantage of people’s distress and that she wouldn’t dare call me back. I informed her that I was not going to stop there and she told me that there was no problem that she too would do what was necessary. I hang up and then nothing, no written confirmation by email, nothing. This morning when consulting my bank account, I noticed a credit card debit of €77 and another of €1 with the title KB COM VALBONNE. Antonia
