I met the marabout “BAFODÉ”, who came to my home in May 2013, to enlighten me on my slightly confused emotional situation between my friend and me. …. I paid for the consultation: 50 euros (cash). Mr. Bafodé gave me a product to ‘‘clean my body’’ and the rest to drink. The following days, he contacted me to tell me that my situation was very difficult. He then asks me to buy him a cell phone, cost €619, and asks me for the invoice (which I voluntarily kept as a precaution), photocopies of my various documents: driving license, registration card, car insurance card, passport, EDF invoice, pay slip as well as a gold necklace to promote magnetism. Oddly enough, I complied without asking myself any questions.
A few days later, he asked me for €5,250 to – supposedly – buy “products”. As I was unable to do so and satisfy his request, he suggested that I sell my car or take out a loan. He tells me that this sum is necessary, essential to enable him to undertake the work of magnetism with his friends “from the forest…”
But his demands don’t stop there, he asks me to buy him €15 “WORLD” phone cards from Orange: In total 9 cards that I paid for with Carte Bleue at the tobacconist. He gives me a box from a supplier who made him business cards which he asks me to distribute in the mailboxes. (to avoid upsetting him, I kept the cards and made no distributions.) Always authoritarian and demanding, playing on my weakness and my feelings, he expects from me, for the next month, 2000 € to take a trip to Africa.
On Wednesday, September 4, I received a letter in my mailbox containing a rental contract for an apartment, accompanied by a request to provide me with a deposit, and to send everything back, signed to the real estate agency.
I got angry, I immediately contacted Mr. BAFODÉ at 06234…, in order to have explanations on his way of acting and to warn him from using my documents for his personal purposes. Having become aware of his excesses, he told me that he was going to come and collect the documents, but I took care to note down the information from the real estate agency CIMM…
The rental contract was established for 3 years, in the name of someone else, Mr. A…, for a rental in… LYON ….
And yet, despite all that, nothing seems to stop the Marabout in his demands.
On Thursday September 5 in the morning he contacted me and asked me first if I had any friends who were “pregnant” because he had friends who could give 4000 euros to recognize a child. I do not take his request into account and categorically refuse to play his “game”. Having understood my refusal, he returns to the charge on the rental contract of the apartment, specifying to me: you sign the contract, and after 3 months we change guarantor, so sign the contract and give me your RIB. I refuse, he hangs up the phone in my face.
