After 29 years of living together, my wife, without any explanation, left with our daughter. I found myself alone with my pain, in complete distress, physically and morally defeated. I must say that I was given confidence by such kindness and thoughtfulness towards me. In his office, very quickly, Mr. Tamini informed me that my wife was going to come back very quickly, certainly in a few days. He asks me €30 for the consultation, a reasonable price. He makes a second appointment for me so that I can bring him photos to do some work, two days later I find myself in his office with three people: Tamini, ‘‘a wise man’’ and, it seems, his brother, they start to say prayers and Tamini lays me down on the ground to facilitate the work of the spirits. Price of the session €400, which he demanded in cash, at the end of the session he gave me a bottle with a yellowish liquid and two small stones inside which I had to place at the bottom of my bed, for a week, the time necessary for my wife to call me. Throughout the week I had to call him to have prayers recited with him. A week passed and no results. He asks me to come back, what I’m doing, there, Tamini and his acolytes(?) do a ritual and at the end, taking on his most serious expression, he announces to me: “…. all the spirits are completely blocked, your mother-in-law is doing things against you so that your wife forgets you….I have a solution: you must give me €6,000 which I will return to you after your wife returns…this money will be used to unblock the spirits, they need an offering to make your mother-in-law. » As I brought the bottle back with me, he noticed that one of the stones had disappeared, it was very serious for me, we had to quickly bring him back the money requested for the spirits. This session was free. …I took all my savings and returned to see him in a state of incredible fatigue with low morale but, deep down, I kept a small hope of seeing my wife and daughter again. When I arrived, the wise man, the brother and the marabout were there, they were waiting for me, they were especially waiting for my money… Tamini asks me if I have the money to say prayers on the tickets (it was in cash at his request). then he picks up all the notes and gives them to the wise man who pockets them in his tunic.
Then they make me drink a liquid so that the spirits, according to them, do not hit me. I become strange, I lose my mind, I suddenly become drunk but still conscious, they take my papers to give them back to me the following week, I still don’t know what they did with them.
During the maraboutage ceremony, they forced me to sign a paper to kill my mother-in-law by occult processes because, they told me, she was the one at fault. After returning to normal, a good three hours later, Tamini recommends that I not tell anyone and keep it a secret. …I still don’t know if I haven’t experienced a nightmare…but Tamini believes to hold me to the signature of this document because each time I ask him for reimbursement of my €6,000, he calls me to order to tell me not to forget that I signed the death of a person.
After several months, no sign of my wife and my daughter. Tamini’s brother asks me to go see him at the office because Tamini would have gone to Guinea to do some work for my wife’s return. On the spot, he asked me for €400 but this time I gave nothing, I had nothing left…, he had become very unpleasant and very aggressive… As for the return of my wife and my daughter, it is always scheduled soon, tomorrow, soon…. I am under the control of these people, completely imprisoned, tied hand and foot. people… Today, I am ruined, without family, my life and total distress… I think more and more about suicide
