A not very “Catholic” bishop

This is a story which concerns an 89 year old grandmother Y.B who wants to help her great granddaughter F.B who is having problems. Y.B contacts a bishop of the P.E.V.C. church, trusting a high dignitary of the church, who is also very convincing.

Y.B; asks if a job for the little one can help him, he tells her YES, and promises her that everything will work out very quickly, trusting him completely, she confides in him that she herself has significant problems, he offers her a job on the little F.B and you will be released at the same time because you are in the same energies, he tells her.

So Y.B sends the photo of the little one plus 350€, so he tells her that for her she also needs a photo and 350€ and she sends them. Realizing that she had forgotten to enclose the check for €350 and having received no news, she contacted her, he replied that she was not interested in an envelope without a check, and he burned the photos. Seeing myself a month and a half after the steps taken by YB, I realized that she was not doing well, that she was very disturbed, she was no longer sleeping and she confided in me her distress. For the little FB she sent the file on April 15, 2009 and hers on April 30, 2009 to MGR-EM who did not warn her that the work could not succeed. Completely devastated and defenseless, she realized the abuse of which she was a victim. From that moment (I am his daughter) I took charge of this file, MGR – EM no longer answered telephone calls, he filtered the calls via his secretariat. He left YB in his turmoil as well as little FB but he cashed the two checks for €350 without having obtained the slightest result. Seeing the turn these events were taking, and faced with this increasingly obvious abuse, I positioned myself to see how far MGR – EM wanted to go. Despite everything, I managed to get him on the phone and he told me that the work ordered by my mother could never be completed and told me that I had to bring him to the mission and then it might work. HE fixed an appointment for June 10, 2009 but he had to add another €350, an appointment that I canceled, he then specified that he could travel but the price was €1,200. Since that day we no longer have this contact, it is impossible to contact MGR – EM. On June 2, 2009, noting that we had no news, I decided to send MGR -EM a letter for amicable arrangement, namely the reimbursement of €350 plus the photos, setting a deadline until June 8, 2009 by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt (see attached letter). At the set deadline and having received no response, I sent a new letter with AR in which I informed him that I was starting proceedings against him. On Wednesday June 11, 2009 I received a registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt from MGR – EM (mail attached). Today YB is very weakened morally and physically by the behavior of this man supposed to be at the service of Christians by committing what I consider to be: o an offense of weakness o a breach of trust o psychological and financial manipulation

I rely on your association to advise me and manage this delicate matter as best as possible and ask you to agree….
