Birth of the SPPAD Union

In a context where the profession of divinatory arts is often misunderstood and tainted by questionable practices, a major initiative has emerged; the creation of a Professional Union of Practitioners of Divinatory Arts. This initiative, supported by the National Institute of Divinatory Arts (INAD), aims to defend and promote an essential profession, while supervising it according to rigorous ethical standards.

The SPPAD’s mission is to enable the full recognition of the divinatory arts as a legitimate activity, in the same way as other regulated professions. By joining this union, qualified practitioners, whether they are clairvoyants, mediums, astrologers or managers of clairvoyance platforms, affirm their commitment to practicing in compliance with good practices, with professionalism, transparency and honesty.

A legal and ethical framework for qualified practitioners

For the first time, thanks to the action of the INAD, practitioners of the divinatory arts can now benefit from a clear legal framework. This union will guarantee that each member is legally declared, with a SIRET number specific to the exclusive practice of divinatory arts…. This approach aims to restore credit to professionals of integrity, passionate about their profession, and who put their know-how at the service of the help they provide to their clients.

SPPAD is firmly opposed to any form of charlatanism, a plague that affects the credibility of the profession. In recent years, many individuals, without training or skills, have proclaimed themselves clairvoyants, mages or gurus, causing serious harm to vulnerable people. The union, in collaboration with experienced and rigorous practitioners, is committed to combating these abuses by informing the public about real practices and promoting a moral and professional vision of the divinatory arts.

Respect for professional secrecy is an absolute requirement for each SPPAD member. Everything
Practitioner must, in all circumstances, observe the strictest discretion regarding the information shared by his clients. In the event of a breach, he may be held liable, potentially leading to his removal from the union or even a ban on practicing the divinatory arts by the courts.

A union to bring together honest professionals

A- The SPPAD aims to be a gathering place for all practitioners who wish to stand out from the pseudo-professionals flooding the sector. By joining this union, practitioners affirm their desire to work in accordance with ethical rules and to offer their clients honest and sincere consultations. The SPPAD will also be a privileged interlocutor with public authorities, in order to guarantee the recognition and protection of the rights and duties of practitioners of the divinatory arts.

A project recommended by the Ministry of Economy and Finance

It is important to emphasize that the creation of this union responds to a suggestion made in 2010 by the Ministry of the Economy and Finance. At that time a recommendation was made to the President of INAD: “…It is up to the profession to regulate from withinthe conditions of good practice…. » Although the establishment of this union took time, this idea formulated by the ministry continued to progress within the profession. Today it appears to be the most appropriate solution to supervise an activity left to its own devices, in the absence of external control and surveillance.

The SPPAD aims to bring together honest practitioners, wishing to stand out from the false professionals present in the sector. By joining, they affirm their commitment to ethical practices and quality service.

The union office will soon be expanded and open to all applications

Each practitioner in professional activity, motivated, experienced, honest and loyal, will be able to apply to become a union representative in the region or department where they practice, thus contributing to the structuring of a recognized and respected profession.

The creation of SPPAD marks a major step for the future of the divinatory arts. It is a clear response to the need to protect this profession and restore its letters of nobility, while ensuring consumers a supervised and quality service.

NB: The union website will be online from October 25, 2024.
