Charlatans, crooks and crazy people of all kinds no longer wait for clients to knock on the doors of their (virtual) offices to unpack imaginary feelings, crazy visions straight from their tortured minds. The vast majority of these individuals see nothing, have no gift, except that of stealing the savings of poor people, who had the misfortune of trusting them. Facebook has become one of the favorite platforms for a large number of these thieves, eager for easy gains and, even more serious, for blackmail and extortion. They hide behind a telephone number, an assumed name and a decorative photo. Their favorite weapon is a ludicrous and fraudulent staging, the publication of photos which were given to them in good faith, the blackmail of disclosure of confidential information, and even death threats. Social networks are full of crazy people and charlatans. And some do not hesitate to put on a big show and indulge in their lying delirium by displaying themselves in positions that could not be more ridiculous, announcing the same nonsense to everyone.

The following testimony is one example among many others. Mrs. Pinto, the victim, decided not to let the matter go unheeded. She first asked me for a small amount and each time she asked for more. I finally understood his behavior and told him that I wanted to stop everything. I told her that I had initially contacted her for a consultation and not for an occult ceremony. Obviously, this remark did not matter to him anymore. . . In addition, she manipulated me into sending her photos of my loved ones. Photos that he used to blackmail me and extort this money from me. Today, when I refuse to pay her what she demands, she is blackmailing me and threatening us with death. These are his last emails that I received from him. : “…one thing is certain. If you don’t pay me you will die. This is the last time I warn you… I have something very important to tell you. I’ve been helping you all this time. I never meant harm to you. I did everything it took to get you what you have today. It’s time to reward me and you’re looking for reasons to block me. If only and indeed if only you know what I can do with your name, first name, date of birth and your photo, you should not have done it. I’m giving you this week to send me what should come to me otherwise you won’t like what happens next, I promise you and I swear it on the heads of my ancestors…I’m not even going to feel sorry for little A… If you like it, send me what you owe me…” She scares me but I can’t accept that. I assume she operates the same way with all trapped people. I will file a complaint against her for blackmail and death threats. We can never repeat it enough: distrust is essential with these pseudo mediums for whom money is the only driving force. When we are wondering, waiting for an answer to our fears, it is better to take the time to look for a qualified professional.
