There are some who will do anything to gain customers. Flood, troll is the right word, all message forums to be present in people’s minds, create one or more websites to praise one’s own merits, write dozens of testimonials in a guestbook, appear on shows where voyeurism is matched only by stupidity. For big companies, it’s simpler: there is free clairvoyance which pays off big because it costs a lot of money for the gogos who get caught up in it.
Aldo is like cheese: between two. He has all the “qualities” of the greatest clairvoyants: famous (in his family), he is full of talents: Cafédomancy, Geomancy, Palmistry, Numerology, Artihmancy, in short everything that ends in mancia. But he has one more, Aldo: free or almost free clairvoyance. 19 euros, the consultation. Do you realize the opportunity to be seized, you who are poor, alone, sick? 19 euros instead of the hundred euros usually charged for a consultation. Isn’t Aldo’s promotion great? Come on guys, run to Aldo’s. No need to run from one end of our beautiful France to the other, you will find it on fake sales sites at a loss, between a Toulouse cassoulet made in Poland and a wedding night in the sewers of Paris.
Too late, you lucky guys! Aldo’s offer is no longer valid. Either man has been overwhelmed with demands that will take him two centuries and three moons to respond to, or he has failed. The fact remains that a few weeks after this fabulous promotion not to be missed under any circumstances, the Aldo company was liquidated. So, not everyone is good at business, which is a shame for Aldo. Finally for the Aldo company. Because like the majority of super clairvoyants and other extra mediums, Aldo was only an assumed name.
Exit the Aldo company, hello Aldo clairvoyance which this time offers its services on… Facebook. The social network that allows everyone to show off their exciting life to virtual friends who don’t care about you since they too are there to show off their exciting life. So here our Aldo has created his Facebook page, with a pretty photo which, at first glance, sounds as false as his nickname. The guy is too perfect, clean shaven, impeccable shirt, quality suit, real interest in his interlocutor (who is not facing him) and… university signet ring. Weird but why not. Once verified, the photo was “borrowed” from an English photographer known for his snapshots of businessmen. It seems that the handsome Aldo has adopted the famous “ethics” of our great friend Estelle: using the creations of others without shame and without authorization.
Obviously, for Aldo this attempt is not yet synonymous with success. Given the number of people who like his page, our friend is still far from obtaining the same income as the gentleman who serves as his model. Aldo still has some progress to make in the area of show off if he wants to reach the heights of some of his sisters who have become experts in the art of selling wind. What if he simply decided to become the little neighborhood clairvoyant again, the one we go to with complete confidence because he carries out his job with passion and humility? No doubt he would be happier than plunging into the spiral of lies for a cheap celebrity.
