The world of clairvoyance: profession in danger

All you have to do is click on a website and that’s it, you have a nine out of ten chance of being deceived, manipulated, threatened, defrauded. You “dare” to express your dissatisfaction with completely bogus clairvoyance? Never mind, you are threatened with having your private life exposed, harassed for having accepted a ‘bogus’ clairvoyance package that was imposed on you, threatened with having your property seized and being banned from banking. The list of threats and other acts of harassment would be long to list. When crooks have a field day with virtual impunity offered by a legal vacuum, we can logically ask ourselves where have the real clairvoyants gone, these beings equipped with a Gift, knowledge and skills intended to help their fellow human beings? Don’t worry, some, out of modesty or candor, prefer to remain in the shadows in order to avoid being talked about but nonetheless deplore the discredit in which the profession is bathed. Others, having acquired a little superficial fame, have abandoned everything, including their conscience, to begin exploiting the distress of their fellow human beings, with the sole aim of making as much money as possible. The year 2014 was a year of rivalry between ‘‘psychics’’, sites and platforms specializing in clairvoyance scams. They all launched at high speed into a competition as frantic as it was sordid, multiplying clairvoyance offers presented as free (on the internet or by SMS). These tempting offers constitute a real trap, because the person, instead of a pseudo free consultation, finds himself trapped, drained, sometimes to the point of finding himself in an inextricable financial embarrassment. In the end, the physical or existential problems that push people towards this type of excessively expensive free service are not resolved. On the contrary, there are often serious financial concerns which reinforce the moral distress of the victims of these sites. Who are the victims of the dealers and usurpers who hide behind low-level clairvoyance? Women are the most numerous to consult charlatans but also the most vulnerable. We also meet a lot of seniors, people with serious illnesses, and finally people consumed by loneliness. Because in these times when the means of communication have invaded every second of our lives, people are more and more isolated and solidarity more and more forgotten. Who are these usurpers converted into illusory clairvoyance intended for people who are as lost as they are naive, disconnected from reality? Self-proclaimed mediums and spiritualists, “specialized” in contacts with the afterlife and salon spiritualism, incapable of seeing the end of their noses, truly enlightened people who end up believing in their lies and therefore dangerous for fragile clients. On numerous occasions, we have alerted and warned consumers by publishing satirical articles by the mage Kivatniket: <a href="http://inad.info/blog/presse-ecrite/431-grand-mage-kivatniket">http://inad.info/blog/presse-ecrite/431-grand-mage-kivatniket</a>, articles which reflect the reality of what is practiced in the world of clairvoyance, where certain individuals are real white-collar crooks,even specialists in extortion, robbing and threatening poor people, discrediting the entire profession without qualms or conscience. Given the importance of the INAD’s commitment to moralize the profession, to allow consumers to evolve in complete peace of mind in the world of clairvoyance, and to allow honest practitioners to exercise their activity with serenity and dignity, to ensure respect and application of the moral charter, a true bulwark against abuse and scams of all kinds. INAD is surrounded and supported by several lawyers who have long experience in the field of resolving conflicts between clients and unscrupulous practitioners but also, if necessary and as a last resort, defending their interests before the courts. Professionals, your profession is in danger. It is not enough to cry wolf, to point a finger or look at an indelicate colleague, while giving in to the sirens of internet clairvoyance. You must react by setting an example through rigorous practice of your activity, by being vigilant and listening to your client, without forgetting to inform the latter about your ‘‘reasonable’’ and not prohibitive prices, while giving them all the (mandatory) information to reassure them before any consultation. To those who have questions about INAD, you should know that its members are all volunteers and do not carry out any clairvoyance activities. The association survives only by the contributions of its members, some of whom have also been removed following their transgression of the moral charter put in place by Inad in order to moralize the profession and defend consumers. Of course, the INAD does not grant any approval to any professional, including and especially to someone who offers to buy their membership and recognition by the INAD. The independence of INAD is not an empty word.
