By pointing out that the real marabouts are in Africa, Mr. SISSAOUI, according to an anonymous Internet user, is committing racial discrimination…. This is a real trial of intent. It’s scandalous.
So what is a “marabout”, in the full sense of the term, a marabout is a Muslim religious who, through rigorous ascetic practices, achieves holiness.
A responsible, trustworthy marabout, respecting both his client and ‘‘his profession’’ must in no case take advantage of the lack of knowledge and ignorance of his consultants who are quite fragile and disconnected from reality to ‘‘rob them financially’’. A few years ago, we sent a circular to hundreds of marabouts in order to alert them to the detestable practices of some of them which give a poor image of all marabouts and maraboutage. Circular translated into Arabic but which had no effect.
We must not hide our faces, a true marabout is as rare as a good clairvoyant. Let’s keep our feet on the ground and try to face reality. Real marabouts do not roam the streets, do not make a spectacle of themselves, do not distribute their business cards at the exit of a metro entrance or in the streets. reciprocity is valid for clairvoyants with a Gift.
We maintain that a very large majority of these marabouts specializing in “occult work”, who promise for considerable sums a hypothetical return of affection, a miraculous cure or success in an exam are usurpers who take advantage of the distress of certain unfortunate people abandoned and left to their own devices.
This clarification should not make us forget the abuses of certain audiotel services, specialized in illusory clairvoyance practiced by notorious charlatans and professional manipulators. These widespread abuses have become a common practice to deceive, abuse and lure consumers who use their service with the interested complicity of certain practitioners in need of customers who act as touts, for a substantial percentage. Is it necessary to remember that a large number of clients who are victims of the fraudulent actions of clairvoyance firms or usurping marabouts are vulnerable and particularly suggestible people who have often spent all their savings, without any compensation?
Today, consumer protection and the moralization of the profession essentially depend on the collective awareness of serious practitioners to stem abuse of all kinds.
