Faced with the increase in abuses and scams by certain practitioners and audiotel firms, the INAD is considering taking legal action in the context of a complaint filed with the Public Prosecutor for the purpose of requesting a ban - on any professional and any clairvoyance firm by telephone and audiotel - from obtaining payment for regular and repetitive clairvoyance consultations by credit card from the same person, as long as the said professional or firm will have obtained a payment of at least €1,000 per quarter. This prohibition applies to any future consultation. This is to avoid abuses and scams which distort the very practice of an activity whose social role is to enlighten, to help but not to manipulate, defraud or make “addicted” this or that person in a situation of emotional or professional fragility… Indeed, every day, there are hundreds of people having to face difficult situations who try, through clairvoyance, to find a little comfort and hope from certain people. ‘‘professionals’’, many of whom are aware of the state of moral distress of their consultants and take advantage of it with complete impunity.
