The supernatural power that we attribute to clairvoyants is comparable to the magical influence of sorcerers, to the fascination exerted by a prediction that neither logic nor intuition allowed us to envisage. The seer imposes a vision, whether past, present or future. The forecast of an event is based on a sequence of facts already experienced which will form a new potential of facts. The light impresses because it penetrates our privacy. The sorcerer who finds a missing person by questioning his pendulum inspires our imagination even more than the best secret agent. Clairvoyance today or witchcraft of yesterday and the day before yesterday excite passions and curiosity because they touch the deep mystery of the origin of man. What kinds of perceptions does the authentic seer experience? He often uses a support, frequently a tarot. Given the accumulation of evidence provided by clairvoyants, can we partly explain the enigma of the phenomenon? A natal chart contains interesting elements of response thanks to the vibrations of certain planets, their position and the configuration of the houses. Affirming clairvoyance in a chart, however, requires more prolonged investigations, and only the synthesis of all the influences of planets, houses, signs will point towards this or that direction. According to the logic of planetary analogies Neptune should be the first planet to observe. In astrology Neptune is the home of Pisces and the 12th house. This planet located beyond Uranus governs the movements of the unconscious, the impalpable matter of the soul, intuition, the unknown… The Neptunian cycle is slow, around ten years per sign. There is little chance that Neptune will position itself on one of the 360 monomeric degrees favored by the gift of prophecy of which there are only ten. Nostradamus himself did not benefit from this when it came to the planet of premonitions. Psychic gifts are more common with Neptune on the cusp of the ascendant and, when the planetoccupies the house I the person is naturally inclined towards the strange. The Neptunian trail is interesting to follow if we seek to ascertain the faculties of the seer. The extra-sensory possibilities of Neptune will be reinforced when the so-called occult or water houses permeate the chart because they exalt the permeability to external influxes, to the invisible.
Houses IV, VIII and XII respectively govern conception, the origin of life and its end linked to Cancer and the Moon, sexuality and the mystery of life and death are the domain of Scorpio and Pluto and finally dreams, the unconscious correspond to Pisces and Neptune. The night star is conducive to dreams and premonitions. The Moon dominates house IV through its analogy with Midnight and the maximum distance from the Sun, by extension the end of our stay on earth. The VIII in trine to the IV could evoke the wanderings of the spirit and the XII a journey into the unknown. The psychic phenomena occurring during sleep do not obey the will; they have their own automatism. Dreaming leads to the ability to imagine and sense new forms. The creation of man takes place at the time of the New Moon in several cosmogonies including that of Babylonia. This imaginative faculty of the Moon suggests clairvoyance, particularly when the star is angular in I (the self), in IV, or in houses VIII and XII. The clairvoyant Didier Derlich presents the Moon in house I conjunct Lilith. The Moon is not alone at the origin of a specific gift, we must add the aspects that it forms with three planets in VIII: Uranus, illumination, lightning, and Mars Pluto domiciled in their house. If we consider the Sun and Venus very angular in IV, the seer’s chart contains 5 planets in so-called esoteric places. The planets connected to the Moon in a fairly tight orb (less than 50) explain a particular sensitivity and a possible gift of premonition. The degrees of Caballe do not provide confirmation, the celebrity of the clairvoyant remains essentially popular. It does not seem that the gift of prophecy is born from simple lunar aspects, the seer nevertheless listens to daily ills in relation to the fastest star. In relation to the public, the crowd La Lune shows the popularity of Didier Derlich, La Lune noire brings a significant factor in a theme oriented towards the occult. Often worrying, the Black Moon or Lilith is linked to karma. She is Hecate, the infernal moon which pierces darkness or produces enchantments. Conjoined to a planet it deepens its intrinsic meaning. In Neptune, for example, Lilith probes the mysteries of the unconscious. In the Moon (Didier Derlich) she deepens dreams by detecting premonitory aspects, sharpens intuition. In conjunction with Pluto she can reveal the deepest mysteries but also lead into a plunge into darkness leading to destruction or renewal. Throughout this research we could compare clairvoyance to a state close to trance and deduce that the clairvoyant cannot practice his art for several hours in a row, even less behind a telephone… Death and supernatural power come together when Lilith is conjunct Pluto in house VIII. At Nostradamus the Moon also stays there. The brilliant career of the Salon doctor appears in the central role of Jupiter, general significator of medicine, exalted in Cancer in IV. Jupiter is conjunct Mars Saturn andconnects the Moon and Uranus in a large triangle. The North Node of the Moon is on the ascendant described by the 29th degree of Pisces: “When he is animated by the prophetic spirit, whether in science or in all serious cases for the government or the health of his fellow men, he risks not being listened to until late. However he will advance the search for the secrets of natural forces, and very advanced in the art of healing, he will appear like a thaumaturge reviving the dead from the doors of the tomb.” The degrees influencing clairvoyance are rare but in Nostradamus 4 degrees are concerned (taking the degrees of the 9 planets). Venus describes to us the inventor of a device capable of capturing or demonstrating influences hitherto considered immaterial or impalpable, making him master, so to speak, of space and time. The degree of Pluto evokes a Temple, on the pediment of which is read the inscription: Our Lady of Mercy. A woman, shrouded like a Madonna and whose hands extend into fluid rays, extends her arms in a gesture of protection. The Salon Mage never contracted the plague after living in contact with it for years. Mercury enthroned in the middle of the sky is on a level of initiation into the Magical Arts. Such a profusion of gifts could do without the influences of planets in houses. However, the Moon, Lilith and Pluto occupy the VIII house and Uranus in XII extends its trines to the planets in the water sign. This triangle of water illuminates the theme of perpetual inspiration, always controlled by the intelligent Mercury and its reasoning properties, next to the Sun in the middle of the sky. The houses from the ascendant are in their natural order from Aries to Pisces in XII, allowing the amplification of their properties. This prophet did not need Neptune in the ascendant to stimulate his genius while the entire theme is structured around a higher thought containing the vision of the future. It is not of course a question of predicting gifts of clairvoyance, healing or prophecy to any receptive planet in a position of strength. If the Moon and Neptune grant inspiration, it is common to find these dominants in artistic themes, more especially among writers. A Neptunian may be an experienced sailor or just a fan of windsurfing, unless he works in the chemical industry or becomes an alcoholic.
