TikTok and Instagram are no longer simple entertainment platforms: they have become veritable supermarkets of mystical fraud, where clairvoyance charlatans engage in a frantic race for manipulation. Behind seductive nicknames and staging worthy of a bad horror film, these so-called “psychics” exploit the vulnerability of Internet users, transforming credulity into hard currency.
The deception is total. False mediums, cardboard witches, improvised messengers from the beyond… They all play a role, a grotesque spectacle where feigned emotion replaces real skill. With bogus “readings”, generic “messages from the beyond” and absurd rituals charged at a high price, these new gurus have only one goal: to get their hands on the wallets of people in distress. But the most serious remains this despicable tendency to stir up anxiety: false predictions of misfortune, emotional blackmail, promises of newfound love or miraculous healing… Psychological manipulation is at its peak, and the victims number in the thousands. Far from being isolated, these practices abound and become normalized, making these platforms an ideal playground for aigrefins. The world of clairvoyance deserves better.
A total abandonment of public power
For years, INAD has been alerting public authorities to the need to regulate the profession of divinatory arts. Result ? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Inaction has allowed the worst abuses to take root, and even the most honest practitioners struggle to survive in the face of this unfair competition where only scams thrive. This situation endangers the credibility of the profession, reduced to a vast theater of the absurd. Some “serious” practitioners give in to the easy way, adopting dubious methods so as not to be eclipsed by the wave of charlatans and enlightened people.
SPPAD: a necessary response against decadence
Faced with this chaos, a strong response is required: the creation of the Professional Union of Practitioners of Divinatory Arts (SPPAD). This union will be the only bulwark against the total decline of clairvoyance and the divinatory arts and will campaign for strict rules: 1- Respect for a code of ethics: no exploitation of suffering, no emotional manipulation, no false promises. 2- Total transparency: prices, duration and nature of services clearly announced, ban on overcharging. 3- Ethics and professionalism: obligation to issue an invoice, formal commitment to respect the confidentiality of consultations. 4- Exclusion of fraudsters: anyone using abusive practices will be permanently banned.
Only true practitioners, concerned with the interests of the profession in general and respect for clients and their colleagues in particular, will have their place in this union. It is time to put an end to the sellers of adulterated dreams who abound on social networks. The world of clairvoyance and worthy and responsible professionals deserve better. ‘‘This is why we called on the Prime Minister as well as the Ministries concerned in order to put an end to these abuses and restore the credibility of the profession.’’
