The macabre predictions of charlatans

A scandalous and immoral manipulation

In the world of clairvoyance, there are unfortunately individuals who, under cover of an often usurped supposed power, do not hesitate to announce the death of public figures – artists, political figures or others – to draw attention to themselves. This quest for visibility, often motivated by a desire for buzz and profits, is based on immoral and dangerous practices. These “merchants of misfortune” exploit the morbid curiosity of a certain public and play with the emotions of families and loved ones, already weakened by worries or complex personal situations. It is unacceptable that these practices continue in a society where respect and dignity should take precedence.

Irresponsible and traumatic predictions

Publicly announcing the imminent death of a person, whether famous or anonymous, is absolutely irresponsible. These announcements, often unfounded, can cause deep psychological distress, not only for the people directly targeted, but also for their loved ones and those around them. We call on consumers of clairvoyance, the curious and all responsible people to boycott these individuals who claim to be mediums or clairvoyants and who spread fear and anguish through their dire predictions.
Putting yourself in the place of the victims: a simple question of humanity These so-called professionals should ask themselves: what if these predictions concerned someone close to them? Would they then understand the pain and anguish that such declarations cause? This lack of empathy, added to a total absence of scruples, reveals a drift which no longer has anything to do with ethical and respectful practice. INAD strongly condemns these practices and recalls that any adherent to its charter who engages in this type of prediction will be immediately called to order, and removed if necessary. We also encourage people targeted by these death announcements not to remain silent and to file a complaint. INAD is ready to support them in their efforts, by becoming a civil party if necessary.

Clairvoyance has never been and should never be a vector of anguish and suffering. Together, let’s stand together against these abuses and defend ethical, respectful and responsible practice.
