MYASTRO: Charlatanism, deceptive and aggressive commercial practices
I would like to provide my testimony about MYASTRO. I received an email from this site offering me free clairvoyance…, I was first asked to give them a telephone number, which I did, unfortunately, because a woman, on the other end of the line, assured me that the free clairvoyance only concerns the first 10 minutes and that after that it is chargeable, without further details. I refused but this woman was not discouraged, she called me back and assured me that I was entitled to free clairvoyance and that providing my bank card number will be used to secure the line and that no fees will be charged. She was so insistent and persuasive that I ended up accepting her offer of free clairvoyance. Appointment having been made and fixed for the next day at 6 p.m. They’re calling me, it’s the clairvoyant ALEXIS. I wanted to remind and clarify to this gentleman that the 10-minute clairvoyance is free: and do not wish to exceed it following the offer made by email and confirmed by his colleague from MYASTRO; because I don’t have the money to pay. The time allotted for this freebie having passed, I asked him to stop.
ALEXIS, certainly accustomed to this technique of deception, had voluntarily turned a deaf ear. I insist, telling him that I have nothing to pay, nothing to do. Suddenly, he stops spouting his gibberish (rubbish) and tries to reassure me, telling me: “I’m the one responsible! We’ll work it out, don’t worry…’’ and gave me a consultation using the pendulum, without informing me that his whole little set-up had only one goal: to make the clock tick and make me pay for the time spent on clairvoyance in name only. Incredible!! Faced with my insistence, he put an end to his circus but he did not fail to offer me one more thing without blinking an eye. I was so angry, outraged, that I don’t even remember what he said to me.
This free clairvoyance offer cost me €436, €236 of which was taken and I was threatened with legal action, registration and so on.
How can we let this happen? Why are these people neither punished nor even worried? I fear, unfortunately, that they will cause many victims.
