“Today, October 15, 2013, in a case opposing several civil parties to a natural person accused of the crime of clairvoyance fraud, the Court of Appeal of Aix en Provence confirmed the terms of a judgment of the Tribunal de Grande Instance of Grasse of November 13, 2012 and once again considered the INAD’s constitution as a civil party admissible.

The defendant was thus ordered to pay a symbolic sum to INAD.

This judgment of the Aix en Provence Court of Appeal of October 15, 2013 represents a real victory for the INAD which is still officially recognized as representing the rights of consumers of clairvoyance and divinatory arts.

In this case, INAD was assisted and represented by the firm of Maître Gordon Fairbairn and Maître Stanislas Panon, associate lawyers within the FPPF law firm, present at the Paris and Toulon Bars. Maître Gordon Fairbairn of the FPPF law firm also assisted a civil party, a victim in this case, who obtained the order for the defendants to pay significant damages. “
