The ancients believed that each letter possessed in itself a certain power - beneficial or evil - a power which was transferred quite naturally to the words, and especially to the names, in the composition of which the letter was included.
And, curiously enough, all civilizations have, more or less, retained this influence of the letters of the alphabet exerted through words.
However, our purpose today is not to report, even briefly, all the studies that have been done on this problem to the point of constituting a true letterlogical science. We will content ourselves, more modestly, with giving the meaning that is generally attributed to the letters of the alphabet, when they serve as the initial of a name or first name. With the same double aim of allowing you to know yourself better and, above all, of lifting a little corner of the veil on the personality of a new relationship in business or in love, whether this meeting takes place on a professional or sentimental level.
It is quite obvious, however, that letterlogy is not an exact science and that it can, at most, indicate a tendency in the same way that the zodiacal sign allows a more or less verifiable - and verified - approach to the deep personality of a native of this sign…
And now, let’s see what you are (or what the man or woman you just met is) if your last name or first name starts with the letter:
h2. The letter A
He has wit and humor and his company is sought after. With great purity of feelings, he is reserved, modest and even a little secretive. His enthusiasm leads him to rash actions, all the more dangerous, sometimes, because he gives himself to everything he does without measuring either his pain or the risks.
h2. The letter B
Very sociable, he likes unexpected encounters and “communicates” willingly, including with strangers. But he is unstable, not always faithful, and he can cause a lot of pain to those close to him, without always being fully aware of it. It’s a shame that he sometimes shows a certain vulgarity which goes hand in hand with his desire to be noticed, at all costs.
h2. The letter C
We must be wary of his skill which is not necessarily devoid of hypocrisy; he often harbors dark designs, although he denies it, and in many circumstances demonstrates bad faith which must be taken into account when one is in business, including sentimental ones, with him. He hates contradiction and can be aggressive. Finally, honesty is not his dominant quality.
h2. The letter D
He is a great seducer who knows how to use a certain charm and inexhaustible ease to achieve his ends. His successes unfortunately make him vain. However, when he is sincerely “taken” he works to keep the same energy that he put into conquering because he is a great enthusiast who believes in Love with a capital A.
h2. The letter E
He demonstrates on all occasions total understanding and a great spirit of conciliation. He is a born diplomat, moderate in his judgments and in his actions. But, as he is full of respect for others, he demands that we act the same towards him. He believes in the dignity of man and begins by respecting his own, which makes him quite an exceptional being.
h2. The letter F
He is a dominating spirit who demands that we bend before him and who uses his will and his strength of character, which are inexhaustible, toachieve, against all odds, the goal he has set for himself. He generally has a lot of personality and, as he knows this, he tends to abuse it.
h2. The letter G
Very available, he is sincerely altruistic, showing constant concern for others and putting their desires and pleasure before his own. Cautious and circumspect, he refuses the unexpected, which destabilizes him, and has a physical horror of adventure, even in its least adventurous form… He is, however, not immune to a “whim” and he accepts the consequences, courageously without unnecessary recriminations.
h2. The letter H
Ambition can lead him to excesses, of which it is very difficult to make him aware. He sometimes shows violence towards others, with the exception of his loved ones who are almost always spared. He likes to command and would, all in all, be an endearing partner or collaborator if he did not sometimes “dissipate” in a way that is difficult to excuse.
h2. The letter I
Courageous except in the face of effort and daily work, he shows an almost psychological laziness, disinterested in anything that is not distraction or vacation. It is not with such a way of acting that one builds one’s life on solid foundations…
h2. The letter J
His entire behavior is dominated by a critical mind that is always alert, which lets nothing go unnoticed, and he is as merciless towards others as he is towards himself. he expresses his opinions without the slightest care and he can even show brutality, even wickedness. To make matters worse, he refuses to fight against this deplorable state of mind, of which he is fully aware, and uses all his energy to make his points of view triumph, which is not only his friends.
h2. The letter K
Very reserved, he enjoys, above all, tranquility and dreams of a peaceful life, sheltered from any unpleasant surprises and any mishaps along the way. The result, inevitably, is a great monotony from which, however, he does not seem to suffer. Indeed, her natural shyness pays off: it’s a shame that she is too often taken for mediocrity, including in the professional world.
h2. The letter L
Ambition is his main driving force and he happily sacrifices everything that could get in the way: his sincerity which would make him an endearing friend or companion, his kindness which only asks to be expressed and his simplicity which would allow him to be happy and make others happy. he prefers ostentation and excess and therefore finds himself in a constant imbalance between what he really is and the false image that he ends up giving of himself.
h2. The letter M
His mathematical mind makes him lose all spontaneity. And, if this attitude, which is both an immense quality and a fault that is difficult to bear, often earns him material success, it deprives him, just as often, of the most basic, joy of living. We find him harsh, mean, in bad faith, when deep down he is only unhappy and misunderstood or better still, unhappy at being misunderstood.
h2. The letter N
Endowed with communicative magnetism, he is a born leader, who likes to lead others in his footsteps and always has a veritable “court” of friends and relations. Inevitably, this makes him a little distant but he knows how to correct his apparent indifference with great affection. He has great alertnesswho helps him succeed in business and in love. He has only one weak point: he is terribly unresponsive, as if he fears being deprived of his environment and finding himself alone, face to face with himself.
h2. The letter O
He will be noted for his great clarity of mind and his ease in unraveling the most complicated situations. This makes him an ideal negotiator and he is often called upon, both in private and professional life. He has a taste for risk, for adventure in every sense of the word and he knows how to remain firm in adversity, despite a certain form of childish gullibility which sometimes makes him the prey of unscrupulous people.
h2. The letter P
He has intuition, business sense and undeniable manual gifts that it is in his interest not to despise, quite the contrary, because they give him a significant “plus” in everyday life. Let him be careful, however, of this tendency towards instability which makes his trade difficult and makes him seen in an inevitably unfavorable light. All he has to do is accept people as they are and his mood swings will, at the same time, become irrelevant.
h2. The letter Q
He is a proud man coupled with a despot who nevertheless manages to make people accept these two major faults thanks to his constant presence and attention. To use a somewhat familiar word, it is “clingy” but it is not necessarily unpleasant when this attitude is combined with a passion that is flattering for the person who is the object. He likes to shower those close to him with gifts, including his colleagues, as if he wanted to be forgiven for his natural and, let’s say it frankly, excessive authoritarianism.
h2. The letter R
His natural bad faith does not prevent him from showing insight into the big and small things of life. We can rely on him and feel protected by him from bad luck; With great dexterity, he not only juggles with objects but also with events, people and everything that is likely to undermine the balance of his existence. And, in this exercise, as in any other circumstance, his patience is of great help to him.
h2. The letter S
He demonstrates great self-confidence, which can pass for vanity, and which is, however, only a fair appreciation of his value and his possibilities. He shows, however, some impatience and even nervousness, in the presence of the unexpected, because he lacks real stability and this “weakness” appears in full light, when events do not prove him right. but it is never for long and he very quickly regains his usual confidence.
h2. The letter T
A methodical mind, full of common sense and insight, he leads his life according to a plan pre-established once and for all and never lets himself be distracted from his goal by the unforeseen events of existence, whatever they may be. He is a robust being, on whom one can rely with complete confidence and whose lack of fantasy is fortunately compensated by a great imagination - from which those close to him benefit - and a great sensuality from which those “very” close to him also benefit…
h2. The letter U
We are, inevitably, struck by his mysticism linked to a thirst for the absolute, which he has little chance of ever being able to satisfy. Helpless in the face of the harsh realities of existence, he needs to be and feel protected. Hence his search for a partner, friends orleaders in whom he can place his trust. He accepts being dominated and shows, towards those who love or esteem him, a lot of gratitude and unfailing recognition.
h2. The letter V
He is a philanthropist who believes in the goodness of his fellow human beings and dreams of doing as much good as possible for those around him. Sociable, understanding, he never gets discouraged and tolerates rebuffs and affronts, with an even-tempered nature that never fails to surprise those around him. Oddly enough, moreover, beneath his apparent credulity, he shows such sincerity and demonstrates such obstinacy that he ends up achieving his ends. And disarm his most determined adversaries.
h2. The letter W
His lack of nuance often plays tricks on him and he has a hard time being accepted as he is: tough, cunning and aggressive. However, he succeeds, thanks to his intelligence, his skill and his very personal way of taking advantage of circumstances and people. He does not hesitate to use flattery, even sycophancy, and, as he does not hesitate to disguise the truth, if the need arises, he is perfectly equipped - in theory, at least - to “succeed” in life.
h2. The letter
His sensitivity and refined tastes earned him a flattering reputation, which he had the skill not to abuse. He knows how to hide his intimate feelings on occasion, especially when they do not fit with the perfect image he wants to give of himself. He can appear, in certain circumstances, to be fanatic, while remaining in control of his thoughts and actions, which protects him against the possible consequences of his own excesses.
h2. The letter Y
He is ingenious, diplomatic and he should only experience success if he were not inclined to a certain form of arrogance which does not plead in his favor and causes him to be judged badly by some. Too bad because, deep down, he is sensitive, affectionate and deeply loyal. He laughs at conventions and, when he feels confident, he is not afraid to make fun of himself and others. which could raise doubts about the “reality” of its diplomacy.
h2. The letter Z
Passion inhabits him in all its forms: passion for his ideas, for his work, for the role he claims to play in society and, even more, for the person he loves and to whom he has decided to devote his life. He is faithful and stubborn that nothing and no one will succeed in deviating from the right path. His modesty, which borders on prudishness, is not ostentation but the simple expression of a desire to escape the mores of the time and to refuse fashionable licenses: and, all things considered, this modesty, even excessive.
