For more than two years, the Professional Union of Practitioners of Divinatory Arts (SPPAD) has acted with determination to defend the interests of serious practitioners. Far from speeches, our action is concrete, with a constant desire to advance our profession and represent it to institutions.
During this period, SPPAD intervened with certain platforms in order to defend professionals facing unfair situations. He supported practitioners in their dealings with the URSSAF, helped resolve disputes between professionals and provided support whenever the interests of the profession were threatened.
At the same time, in close collaboration with INAD, SPPAD initiated a dialogue with the public authorities. Steps have been taken with the Prime Minister, the Minister of Labor and the Minister of Justice. Following these discussions, the Prime Minister’s services informed us that the file presented jointly by SPPAD and INAD had been sent to the Minister of Labor for examination. INAD was also received by an advisor to the Minister of Labor.
These steps prove that an organized profession can be heard. They show that public authorities are willing to listen when the requests are serious, argued and supported by a representative organization.
But we also know that much remains to be accomplished.
The SPPAD will continue its commitment to obtain better recognition of our profession, a more readable framework and dignified representation of practitioners who practice with competence, responsibility and ethics.
The Union also intends to fight against all practices that harm the image of the profession. When confronted with facts likely to constitute false advertising, deceptive practices, abuse or any other serious harm to the interests of the profession and consumers, the SPPAD will examine, whenever necessary, the possibility of referring the matter to the competent administrative or judicial authorities.
Our goal is not to create divisions. Our goal is to defend serious practitioners, protect consultants and help clean up our industry.
But an observation is necessary.
No union can be truly effective if it only represents a minority of professionals.
Our credibility, our legitimacy and our capacity for action depend above all on the number of practitioners who choose to come together.
Each membership strengthens our weight.
Each new member increases our capacity to dialogue with administrations, public organizations, platforms and public authorities.
Each professional who joins the SPPAD participates in the defense of the entire profession.
The future of the divinatory arts can no longer rest on individual initiatives. It must rely on a strong, responsible and recognized organization.
Today, everyone is faced with a choice.
To remain isolated is to accept that others decide the future of our profession.
Joining the SPPAD means choosing to be an actor in your future, to defend your profession and to participate in the construction of a stronger, more respected and better recognized profession.
Our profession deserves to be recognized.
Our profession deserves to be respected.
Our profession deserves to be defended.
The SPPAD will continue its mission with determination. But its strength will always depend on those who choose to support it.
The more of us there are, the more our voice will carry. The louder our voice is, the more we will be able to effectively defend the profession.
Union is not an option. It is the condition for the future of the profession.
